Tiny Tim's Foundation for Kids was started by Alton and Cheryl Thacker in 1996.  Since that time they have built two schools for handicapped children, two hospitals, one physical therapy center and one senior citizen center in Ascension, Chihuahua, Mexico.  Every year at Christmas time they take a group to Mexico where they deliver food, clothes, hygiene kits, newborn baby kits, school kits, blankets, toys, housewares and many other necessities.

They also run Tiny Tim's Toy Factory where they make 3,000 hardwood toy cars every month.  These toys are delivered to children all over the world by humanitarian organizations.
